This egg was repaired in the Kintsugi style and finished with bronze both inside and out.

The two different shades of Japanese lacquer – a matte green-gray and a deep reddish-brown – emphasize the fracture and create a fragmented appearance without disturbing it.

The bronze layer captures this contrast and connects the two halves in a calm yet powerful way. The broken edge changes depending on the light, emphasizing the handcrafted structure of the material.

The egg stands on a wooden base (available separately) and is suitable as a standalone object for a quiet display. Each piece is carefully handcrafted and unique in its execution.
