mijin (Japanese for tiny pieces; shards; bits)
With the MIJIN, I tried to capture the beauty of brokenness on a pictorial level: each piece is a different surface, broken and then reassembled using the Kintsugi technique. Like shards, the mijin are unique; no two images are alike.
