Yobitsugi – The Invitation of the Foreign
In traditional ceramic repair, there are various techniques used to rejoin or restore damaged objects. In Tametsugi (Urushi-Tsugi), the broken shards are finished with colored urushi, such as dark red bengara urushi or black kuro urushi.
