The Kintsugi plate HARŌ (はろう) combines understated elegance with graphic expressiveness. A hand-painted line pattern, applied to the shards with Urushi Japanese lacquer, spreads across the light porcelain surface. The delicate, undulating lines seem to capture movement—a balance between order and flow.


The plate's original break is emphasized by the vertical Kintsugi line, which divides the composition into two harmonious halves. HARŌ is a dialogue between Japanese tradition and contemporary design.


The original shards were rejoined using the modern kan’i kintsugi method with contemporary adhesive. The cracks on the outside were painted over with Urushi lacquer and finished with bronze.
