The Kintsugi plate with its organic form and rough, earthy texture leaves a strong impression. The irregular edges are reminiscent of natural rock formations, while the delicate glaze in soft shades of gray-blue and white creates an almost landscape-like depth.

The ceramic pieces come from the workshop of Fēier Wáng. After each sale, the artist receives the amount she would normally charge for the piece.

This Kintsugi plate is also available in a set with a Cha-Fu cloth by Yurika Saito. The cloth complements the ceramic with its subtle color gradient and highlights the collaboration between the two workshops. The result is a set that seamlessly blends ceramics and textiles, making it suitable for both gifting and personal use.

These linen Cha-Fu 茶布 textiles were hand-dyed using Kusaki-zome, a traditional Japanese natural dyeing method (草木染め) that utilizes plants and everyday materials.

Each piece was dyed with rust and reused tea leaves collected by tea sommelier Kwok Ying von Beuningen in Berlin.

Over time, the rust slowly penetrates the fibers and reacts with the tannins in the tea, creating unique colors and patterns that cannot be reproduced.
